MadCap's D&D Builds - Sam (Trick 'r Treat) (5e)

Happy Halloween, everybody! Let's finish off Horror Month 2024 with an old new Halloween classic! Sam!

I mean, c'mon. We've had Lord Zedd, Slender Man, Pyramid Head, and Aku... why not the spirit of Halloween itself?

...you guys remember Trick 'r Treat, right? The one that still has a hilarious hyperlink because I was going to review a completely different movie at the time and never changed it?

From MadCap's Couch - Supernatural: "Criss Angel Is a Douchebag"

"We are but poor, lost circus performers. Is there a village nearby?"

Magic gone bad... which is pretty much an avid description of most uses of magic on this show.

MadCap's Reel Thoughts - "Halloween Ends" (2022)

...look... look... okay, look... do I have to do this one?

I just... I really don't want to do this one. I barely wanted to do the last one. I mean, hell I didn't want to do the last one at all, but this is just...

...yeah, I'm not getting out of it, am I? Fine, hell with it. Horror Month 2024's last film. Let's get on with it.

MadCap's D&D Builds - Aku (Samurai Jack) (5e)

LOOOOOOOOOOONG AGO IN A DISTANT LAND
... I made this build (I wrote this one in June, to be fair).

Let's build us the shapeshifting master of Darkness!

That's right, we're building Aku from Samurai Jack! Let's do it!

From MadCap's Couch - Supernatural: "Family Remains"

"Daddy, where is my Pantene?"

Remember when Supernatural had so many episodes in the first season that I started cracking jokes about it?

Don't know why that came up.

Anyway, here's Family Remains.

MadCap's D&D Builds - Pyramid Head (Silent Hill) (5e)

An icon of a franchise that people either hate or love, it's time to build Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill franchise. Originating in Silent Hill 2, Pyramid Head has become to the Silent Hill franchise what Nemesis is to Resident Evil. Whether you like it or not, he keeps popping up in the games even to the point of showing up in Dead By Daylight. Now, he pops up in D&D.

What If... Sam Winchester killed John Winchester? (Part 6)

Last time we glanced into this world, Dean Winchester had been torn apart by Hell Hounds. Unlike in the Prime Timeline, however, Dean's vampiric nature means that he was not taken to Hell after the fact. Heaven and Hell conspired on what to do next, Raphael decided that Heaven would take the lead on getting Dean Winchester to Hell so he can shed blood there and open the first seal. It seems that the Winchesters have, for now, won the day... but for how long?

Let's find out!

From MadCap's Couch - Supernatural: "Heaven and Hell"

Ironically, the movie Supernatural Road Trip was not well-received.

Last time, Sam and Ruby bang-a-ranged and scarred Dean for life, Ruth Douglas started hearing the voice of angels, and we ended on a cliffhanger where said angels wanted to kill her.

Caught up? Ballin'. Let's carry on.

MadCap's Reel Thoughts - "Jason Goes To Hell" (1993)

A film that is not a lie, unlike the previous one.

No, really. Jason does, in fact, go to Hell.

Admittedly, it happens in the last five minutes of the movie, but at least it isn't a complete lie.

MadCap's D&D Builds - Slenderman (Slenderman Mythos) (5e)

The Beast. Daddy Long Legs. Gorr'Rylaehotep.

The being known as Slenderman goes by many names. Originally appearing in the Something Awful forums for a photoshop contest, this featureless, tall, thin mannequin in a black suit has gone far and wide since his first appearance in 2009, becoming an internet and a pop culture phenomenon. A legend in his own time, permeating the pop culture zeitgeist.

So, naturally, I decided he'd be a perfect choice for a character build for Horror Month 2024. W̵̧̧̱̫̮̳̠̲̮̳͗͝ḩ̸͕̤͓̭̝̫̍͊̈́̔͒̎͊͗͊́͊̈̋̍̚ͅä̵̧̖͇̱͖̘̳̯̰̹̩̗́̾̓́̐̾́̎͆̆̃̑͘̕t̷͉̪̲͖͌ͅ ̸̢͖͔͚͇͇͈͍̱̼̱̱̣̯̓̈́̈́͋c̶͍̻͚͘ō̸̧̮̭̮͍͛͗̾̏̒̄̈́͆͋̚̕ů̷̬̖̙̝͍͆̄̋͑́͘͜l̶̼̪̱̱̬̣͚̂̀͗͋͛̉̑͆̒̊̆̏̎̆͘d̶̛̪̞͈͔͇̫͓͈͛̽̍͂̂́̐͋͜͝͝͠͝ ̴͓̬̱̩̲̫̩̿̆̆́̏̉̆̿̈́̀̀͐̀̂͘p̴̡̧̛͙͕̱̖̻͔̘̟̬̬̙͔̹͐͐͋͋̑̀͗͑̒̔̓̒̇͘ơ̶̢͖̯̣̝̩̲͔̙̗̥̌̂͑̐͠s̶͇͇͉̼͍̭͙̬͙̞̗̠͙̅̈̆͋̀̀̚̚͠s̷͙͔̙̘͎̤̼͎̬͙̹̮̣̭͒i̴̧̛͍̘̪̯̟̼͚̩͕͉͈͖͈̿͌͋̾̈́̈̀̏̌͘̚͜͝͠͠b̶̖̀̅̄͛ļ̸͔͚̪͇̗̝͍̬̹͎̺̯̺̈̇̾̾̐͜y̵̨͉̲͇̱̼͔̯̩͛́͘͠ ̴̤̟͔̟̀͊̍͋̐̉̅́̃̈̚̚g̷̢̛̣̻̣̤̖͉̳̯̗͚̰̥̾͌́̈́̑̿̏̀̈́̓͐̏͠ö̵̡̧͖̮͍͉̩̱̻̦͈̲̫́́̊͂̐͂ ̸̨̞̣̱͚̤̗͙̹͕͊̋̕ͅw̴̨̧̳̫̪̙̗͚̯̥͗̊͠ř̸̢͓̜̮̤͎̮͉̯͕̗̯̻̼̹̑̑̈́̒̕ǫ̴̢̛͇̭̜̼͚̞͚̠̣̰̜̅̽̐̍̀̎̈͑͗̄̃̃͋́͜͜n̷͇̳̦̝͈͚͍͛̊̿͆̒͂̓̽͑̏̎̽̕͘͝g̶̡̬͈̟̗̣̥̻̥͓̜̮͉̊͜͜?̸̢̞̭̹̻̟̗͉̙͊͆͝ͅ

What If... Nancy did not survive A Nightmare on Elm Street? (Part 1)

So, I felt bad for the sin of not having an Elm Street film this year and decided to split the difference by hopping into a well I haven't touched with Mr. Krueger since...err... last year.

That is, the saga of "What If...?" stories that somehow remain the pages on my blog I get the most hits for and now throwing Freddy into another one. Namely, we'll be looking back into the original film's ending and answer a question:

What If... the Trickster never reset the Timeline? (Part 4)

Last time, Team Reset had hit quite a hell of a stumbling block - namely the Apocalypse. Lucifer had risen and, it all once more led to that graveyard outside of Lawrence. This time, rather than Sam, Michael, and Lucifer being stuck in the Cage, it was now Gabriel and Michael in the cage. With Anna atomized and Bobby dead, Dean is now completely on his own... or so it would seem.

Let's see what happens next!
